My first commision for the New York Times Book Review, and you could have showered in my flop sweat. The book in question was on women's sexual harrassment on Wall Street and my first idea, if you want to call it that, involved a bull and a bear, God forgive me. Fortunately, Steven Heller gave me a second at-bat.

Having worked on Wall Street, I almost dismissed the idea of a woman being surrounded by neanderthals as too literal.
